The Historic House

Come down the drive, through the 150 acres of Grade II* listed parkland, and you see appear amongst the trees one of England’s glorious country houses.
Cobham Hall is steeped in history, dating back to the 12th century. Visitors through history have included royalty and many famous painters, writers and politicians.
The Hall has been home to a priceless collection of old masters, to recuperating Australian servicemen in the First World War, and to the Ashes, originally a gift to the 8th Earl. It has also been the setting for many film and television productions, fashion shoots and advertisements.
Whether celebrating a wedding in the Temple in Lady Darnley's Garden, listening to a chamber orchestra perform in the magnificent Gilt Hall, or stepping back in history on a guided tour of the house, Cobham Hall is a very special place indeed.
