High standards of teaching ensure consistently good results in public examinations and high value-added scores.
Individual support and guidance ensures that leavers gain entry to their university of choice.  In recent years students have gone on to study at leading universities, including Oxford, UCL and Imperial College.  Art students regularly gain places at Central St Martin's in London, one of the finest Art colleges.
Girls take their GCSE in Year 11 and study the International Baccalaureate in the Sixth Form.

International Baccalaureate Results 2011
2010-2011 was Cobham Hall’s first full year of taking the International Baccalaureate (IB).
The school has almost 20 percent of students with scores of 40 or more out of a possible 45 points, placing them in the top five percent of students in the worldwide qualification.
Almost 43 percent of students achieved at least one score of seven, the highest possible mark in an IB subject.
In addition, almost a quarter of girls were awarded a bi-lingual IB Diploma.
Girls depart for a variety of tertiary places including, Oxford, Reading, Edinburgh and Ravensbourne. Please see below for a full list of Leaver Destinations for 2011.

GCSE Results 2011
39.9% of passes were A* or A.

83.3% of girls gained 5 or passes at A* to C and two girls gained A* or A in 9 or more subjects.

The pass rate at A* to C was 87.4%.
The Pre-IB course for overseas students wishing to prepare for studying the International Baccalaureate Diploma includes GCSE examinations in key subjects, and 38% of this group’s grades were A* or A. This will give them an excellent start to their two-year IB course.
Increasingly schools now offer International GCSEs (known as IGCSEs) in many subjects, as they believe they are more rigorous. IGCSEs are not recognised by the government at present, meaning results in subjects taken at IGCSE are not counted in some league tables.

At Cobham Hall IGCSEs are taken in Science (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) and Information and Communication Technology and their non recognition may affect the calculation of some league tables.

A Level Results 2011
Although 2011 is the School's first full year of the International Baccalaureate, a few students took additional A Levels to support their University and career choices.
100% of students taking A Levels achieved a pass with 75% achieving a pass at A* to B in subjects as diverse as Photography and Greek.
