As an ice breaker at the start of the new term, there is nothing to beat a good Barn Dance.
Staff and students invited their families and friends to join the fun on Saturday 13 September.
Straw bales created just the right atmosphere in the Activities Centre, and everyone enjoyed the bangers, burgers and beans supper provided.
Mike Courtauld and The Mighty Quinns had nearly everyone on the floor dancing and our international students were soon mastering the right hand star, the promenade and the doh-si-doh.
Barn dancing is thirsty work – and business was brisk for the girls selling soft drinks to raise money for the school’s Round Square charities.
