Sophia Ellis and her pony Kola went to Sands Farm near Horsham in September to compete in the Oliver Townend Eventers' Challenge Championship. Sporting her Cobham Hall shirt, she was placed 8th out of 28 in her class.
Competitors have to jump a mixed course of cross country and show jumping fences, and the winner is the competitor with the least number of combined jumping and time faults.
This championship event was launched in 2007 and proved a huge success, with thousands of competitors participating at 15 venues.
This year, the organisers have made it even bigger and more accessible, with over 20 venues and some fantastic new jumps.
