The 2006 House Music Festival was held on 17 November, and all four Houses produced wonderful performances to delight staff and fellow students.

This year, we were delighted to welcome Mr Alan Vincent to Cobham Hall as our adjudicator.

Alan Vincent was educated in London and Cambridge where he read Music at Clare College.  After teaching in Hastings and London he became a music and general education inspector in London and later in Kent, where he founded the Kent Youth Choir, the Kent Chamber Choir, the Kent County Singers, the Kent Youth Chamber Orchestra and the Kent Schools Orchestra, and was appointed Music Director of Gravesham Choral Society and Kent County Youth Orchestra. 

He has conducted the latter at the Royal Festival Hall, the Royal Albert Hall and concert venues throughout Kent, and has toured widely in Europe and South America with this orchestra and with the Kent Chamber Choir.
