Guests thoroughly enjoyed the recent Summer Concert, held in the Gilt Hall on Thursday 8 May.

Students from throughout school performed a wide range of items, including vocal solos, and pieces on classical piano, jazz trumpet, cornet and viola.

Performances by the Middle School and Senior Choirs, coached by Miss Jennifer Quigley, are aways much enjoyed at school events, and guests this time also had the opportunity to hear the Staff Choir. 

Mrs Deborah Wallace, Head of Music, described the item chosen by the School Ensemble as the 'novelty item' of the programme.  As fans of Doctor Who, the group had decided to perform a variation on the theme music, arranged specially for them by Mr Stewart Wallace.
