Four members of the Dartford mixed martial arts academy have been selected to represent Great Britain at the WEKAP World Championships in the Philippines next month.

Amongst the team is Danny Suman from Gravesend, who will compete in the men's light heavyweight category at the full contact stick fighting contest being held in Cebu City between July 22 and July 25.  Danny is Network Manager at Cobham Hall, and all his colleagues, as well as the students, will be supporting him.

Dartford captain John Vallas, 36, will represent GB in the men's welterweight category.  He will be joined by his stepson Brandon Payto, 13, who will fight in the cadets event and stepdaughter Terry Payto, 18, who is entered in the ladies' competition.

All four were chosen to represent Team GB following two weekends of sparring training with the British squad at Luton.
