Young Musicians at Cobham Hall

Music students from local Prep and Primary schools attended a Music Workshop in Cobham Hall's magnificnt Gilt Hall on Friday 6 November.
Under the direction of Head of Music, Mrs Deborah Wallace, the visitors spent the day working with music teachers from Cobham Hall and their own schools in a variety of instrumental and orchestral workshops, supported by Cobham Hall's senior music students.
At the end of the day the students staged a concert for their parents and teachers. Mr Stewart Wallace had written four pieces especially for the occasion, with the common theme of Aliens.

For some, it was the first time they had played in an orchestra - possibly the first time they had performed in public! To make your debut performance in a venue as impressive as the Gilt Hall was a wonderful experience.
