Duke of Edinburgh Award Training

Twelve girls will be spending the coming weekend training for the Expedition section of their Bronze Award.  They will be working with two qualified Mountain Leaders to improve their map reading and navigation skills, and will also be getting tips on packing rucksacks, cooking and safety procedures.

The girls are preparing for their practice expedition in May, followed by the qualifying expedition in June.
