Filming at Cobham

Cobham Hall has been used by film, television and advertising companies on many occasions.

We became Abbeymount School for the recent film ‘Wild Child’, in which many staff and students were involved as extras. Pride of place on one of the school noticeboards goes to a signed photograph from the star of the film, Emma Roberts, on which she has written simply ‘Cobham Hall - Love your School!’

Andrew Davies’ acclaimed adaptation of the Dickens novel Bleak House was also filmed here and a composite portrait of Gillian Anderson and Anna Calder-Martin as Lady Deadlock is an interesting talking point on guided tours.
