Goodbye Group 5

Yes, goodbye Group 5...well sort of. Group 5 boarders are living a different kind of life these days, as they enter the stressful period of their GCSE exams. They can be found (hopefully) studying hard in their rooms or, when the weather is good, occasionally sprawled out on the grass, with their books and notes.
After their last day of lessons, they celebrated by going out to dinner and the cinema in Bluewater shopping centre. The girls enjoyed vast quantities of chicken with varying degrees of spice at Nando’s before heading to see Dear John (and collecting some Ben and Jerry’s on the way of course).
One can never be sure whether it was the film or the latent realisation that their classes were over, but there were tears as the film drew to an end. In fact one particular young lady was sobbing so desperately, the rest of us were laughing!
So now they study and we wish them luck for all their exams and for everything that lies ahead in their future, because as they will come to realise, there is life after GCSE!!
