Have a Heart for Haiti

There were red hearts all over school before the 4th February, urging staff and students to help raise money for the Haiti Earthquake Appeal by supporting the Have a Heart for Haiti Day.

A variety of events were held in school and £1000 was raised!

Girls and staff contributed £5 to buy a book of vouchers which were exchanged for a doughnut at morning break, permission to wear red instead of school uniform, a raffle ticket, a go on the tombola and entry to the star attraction - a staff v students netball match.

The match started off with play very evenly matched and the score at half time was 4:3 to the staff.  In the second half, the staff had much more possession and the final score was 13:5 to the staff.
