LAMDA Examination Success

In March 2010, 28 students from Cobham Hall took a variety of examinations under the auspices of LAMDA (the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art).
LAMDA began offering speech examinations to the public in the 1880s. Since then, these examinations have developed by experts in education, communication and acting into a comprehensive system of performance evaluation. LAMDA examinations have a reputation for excellence across the world.
The Cobham Hall candidates took examinations in the use of spoken English. The speaking of Verse and Prose, and Acting up to and including Bronze Medal level. All the girls were awarded a Merit or Distinction, with no-one falling below 65% - an outstanding achievement.
LAMDA examinations are designed to equip learners with a range of personal and vocational skills which will serve them well throughout life.
