Staff and students celebrated excellent results in this year's A Levels.  The overall pass rate was 100%, with 42.50% at A* and A, 68.8% at A* to B and 15% at the new A* grade.  Cobham Hall features in 12th place in the Daily Telegraph AL Results Table for smaller independent  schools (those entering between 10 and 24 candidates) listed by % of grades at A* and A.

Headmaster Mr Paul Mitchell was delighted with the results.

Our last ever A Level results confirm Cobham Hall's consistent ability to enable students of a wide range of abilities to gain the highest grades of which they are capable and for many to access the very best universities.  This year students have gained places to read subjects as diverse as Law at Cambridge University, Economics at UCL, Fashion at Westminster and Architecture at Hull.

The new top A level grade of A* was obtained by students in subjects as varied as Spanish, Art, Mathematics and Biology, with over 40% of grades being either A* or A. Our current Sixth Formers, studying for the IB Diploma, are already showing great promise for similar or better results next year, whether demonstrated in the very highest grades or in significant personal and intellectual progress, which the IB Diploma also recognises.  We truly fulfil the IB Organisation's desire that the Diploma Course be available in an international context and to students of a range of abilities.

This is the final year of A Levels at Cobham Hall, which now offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma in Sixth Form.
