Cobham Hall helps Round Square go virtual
In December, Cobham Hall school choir took part in a music project on an international scale: The Round Square virtual choir.
A Round Square student, Angus Nicholson, created an anthem which was then emailed to participating European Round Square schools.
“In this piece I have tried to create a positive and uplifting tone, while also highlighting the Round Square ideals,” said Angus of his composition.
“It was challenging, but it’s a great honour to be commissioned to write a work that will be so important to the Round Square in Europe. I hope the choirs will enjoy singing it.”
Cobham Hall recorded their contribution which will then be mixed together with all the other schools to produce a work that will sum up the Round Square in song.
The result will be available to buy in January of 2012.
