Kent Competitive Festival 2007
Girls from Cobham Hall had a highly successful day at the annual Kent Competitive Festival on Saturday 12 May 2007.
Classes at the Festival cover a wide variety of styles in Prose and Verse reading for a range of age groups, and many classes are divided into sections due to the high number of entries. Many local schools compete at the Festival and standards are always very high.
Cobham students managed to win no less than 14 classes and were placed 1st and 2nd in two finals.
Two girls also reached the final of the Award for Excellence for the best performer of the Festival, and again were placed 1st and 2nd.
