Prep Schools Netball Tournament 2007

On Saturday 3 February 2007, schools from London and the South East sent their teams to Cobham Hall for the Prep Schools Netball Tournament.  Due to the increasing popularity of this annual event, tournaments for both u11 and u13 teams are run.  This year, 12 teams competed in the u11 section and 8 teams in the u13 section.

After the wet and wild weather of the previous weeks, it was a relief to see the day dawn bright and sunny.  Despite a hard frost, the outside courts played extremely well.  In the Activities Centre, supporters could enjoy coffee and danish pastries while watching the action from the viewing gallery above the indoor courts.

The standard of play was excellent throughout and both finals were strongly contested.

The Cobham Hall Netball Shield for the u11 section was won by St Michael's, Otford.  Runner up was Glendower.

The Cobham Hall Netball Trophy for the u13 section was won by Windlesham House.  Runner up was King's School Rochester.
