Round Square Christmas Fair

The Round Square Fair and the Christmas Treats evening has quickly become a much enjoyed traditional annual event.

Students work extremely hard beforehand, preparing a wide range of international treats for their café, decorating Santa's Grotto, and organising a Beauty Salon, games and competitions for all ages, and much more!

In the Gilt Hall, local craft businesses bring a variety of wares for sale, including jewellery, cards & prints, shoes, bags and candles.  Local practitioners of reflexology, Indian head massage and back massage also offer their services so that exhausted shoppers can spend a relaxing half hour before returning to the fray.

Visitors are greeted with a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie in the Entrance Hall before making their way to the very busy stalls and café.  Christmas music plays gently in the background, making way occasionally for the student choir who sing carols round the Christmas tree.

The event raises money for the school's Round Square fund, which supports specific charities chosen by the girls, as well as the long term projects of sponsorship for a student in Kenya and support of a school in Botswana.
