The South East Biathlon Qualifier
On Sunday 9 December, a number of girls entered the South East Biathlon qualifier. It was an extremely exciting day! All of the girls performed well in the swim (which was either 50m or 100 meters) and in the 1000m run.
We had some outstanding results for our first ever biathlon as a school!
Billie-Jayne Kidd managed to beat her personal best time for the 50m swim by 4 seconds - finishing 25th out of 68!
Justina Balch managed to finish 33rd out of 68 overall after the swim and the run!
Kate French won her age group. She stood proudly on the podium to receive her medal after beating many girls in her section!
All the girls who took part deserve a round of applause for their excellent effort and performance.
