Learning at Cobham

While the classroom is not the only place where girls gain knowledge at Cobham Hall, lessons do form a vital part of their school experience.

Girls take GCSEs and IGCSEs in Year 11 and study for their International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma in the Sixth Form.

We also offer a flexible one, two, or three term Pre-IB course to prepare girls for taking the IB Diploma the following year.  This combines core GCSE subjects with preparation for the IB.  Pre-IB can be particularly useful for girls who are joining the English education system from elsewhere in the world.

Click on the links on the left to learn more about classroom-based learning at Cobham Hall, including detailed information on subjects offered, examination results and leaver destinations. Find out more about the School’s CAS (Creativity, Activity and Service) programme which is just one of the many ways that our students develop into well-rounded, balanced and diverse individuals.

Detailed information is provided in this section for girls who might need extra help if English is not their first language (see EFL) or those with specific learning needs (Student Support).
