The main building is Grade 1 listed and contains several ornate function and meeting rooms for assemblies, events and meetings.

These include the Gilt Hall, the Vestibule, the Library and Clifton Meeting Room. Main Hall also houses the three dining rooms and the Independent Learning Centre which is home to the school’s library. The preserved State Rooms are also situated in the main building and are opened for public tours during school holidays.

Bedrooms in Main Hall sleep between two and five girls. In Sixth Form, rooms are singles or doubles with a significant number of en suite rooms. All Boarding Houses have kitchens, common rooms with flat screen televisions and washing facilities. Sixth Form kitchens have more sophisticated cooking facilities including ovens and cookers. All Boarding Houses have wireless internet connections. Both Sixth Form Houses have their own computer rooms and printing facilities.

Most classrooms are fitted with interactive whiteboards or overhead projectors. There are four fully equipped science laboratories.

There are several computer rooms used for ICT classes and other lessons utilising online and technological resources. Boarders and daygirls have access to computers during Prep. The Art and Music departments also have their own Apple Mac suites for creative production.

The Art department comprises two main studios, a suite of Apple Macs for digital photography, a dark room for film photography, a small photography studio and a kiln room.

The brightly painted Music Wing has nine practice rooms, a recording studio and a digital music suite. As well as pianos and a drum kit, other instruments are available to be borrowed.

The Activity Centre comprises a double gym (used for many different sports including netball, tennis and hockey), fitness suite, dance studio, classroom and changing rooms with showers. There are also two table tennis tables. Outside of the Activity Centre there are seven tennis courts, an indoor heated swimming pool and, of course, 150 acres of grounds. There’s plenty of space for rounders pitches, a grass athletics circuit and long jump pit. The Cookery Room is also in the Activity Centre.

Drama has its own fully equipped studio and a props and costumes department. Theatre lights, staging blocks and sets are available for productions. As well as the Drama Studio, the Drama Department often uses various other spaces throughout the school imaginatively when staging school plays and performances.
