An education at Cobham Hall is best suited to those students who react positively to a stimulating academic environment, who are willing to take advantage of the variety of extra-curricular activities on offer and who will play a full part in the school community.
If you are considering entry for your daughter, you are strongly advised to register at least two years prior to admission date. This will give you the opportunity for several visits to the school.
We recommend attending an Open Day, which will give you the chance to see the school in action. We also advise you to arrange a personal visit, which will include a full escorted tour, the opportunity to observe classes, and discussions with the Headteacher and senior staff. In addition you will be invited to attend school events such as concerts and drama productions.

Sixth Form Trip to Rome - 26th to 30th June
Sixth Form students will enjoy a four day trip to Rome in June.
The aim will be to introduce students to the history and art of the city, focusing on Ancient Rome (the Forum, the Coliseum, the Pantheon and other monuments) and Baroque Art and Architecture (St Peter’s and the Vatican, Benin’s fountains and statues, and many beautiful churches, squares and art works).
A day excursion will take in Pompeii and Herculaneum. There will also be time for relaxation, shopping and visiting some of Rome’s outdoor restaurants. Hopefully, those who wish will be able to attend a Sunday Mass celebrated by Pope Benedict XVI in St Peter’s Square. This is intended to be both a highly educational and an enjoyable experience.

Festival Day - Saturday 5 July
This year, Festival Day will be celebrated on Saturday 5 July.
Festival Day is a very important day in the school's calendar, marking as it does the end of the academic year.
Parents and Guardians join staff and students for a celebration of the girls' achievements throughout the year. Awards are presented for academic excellence and effort and achievements in sport and the arts. The school's commitment to the Round Square ideals is reflected in awards for service, initiative and courtesy.
The Headmistress, Chairman of Governors and senior staff and students report on the activities of the year and the day finishes with the Leavers' Ball, an opportunity for the girls leaving Group 7 to celebrate the end of their time at Cobham Hall with friends, family and staff.
All girls are required to attend Festival Day, and parents and guardians are therefore asked to ensure that travel arrangements are made accordingly. Girls will be free to leave from lunchtime onwards.
Full details, plus information on the Leavers' Ball, will be posted on the Parents' Area of the website.
