Meet our 2018/19 Student Leadership Team

Each February, the school community gathers to elect a new Student Leadership Team.  It’s a time to reflect and give thanks to the outgoing team, as well as look forward to the next year with a new group.

Our new Guardian, Hannah, has wanted to be a part of the SLT since Year 7, not only to make a difference to the School, but also to help develop her confidence. She wants to make Round Square more prominent and help the younger years understand the opportunities it brings. Her Deputy is Isabelle, who hopes that staff and students alike will find their SLT to be approachable. House Captains are Britta (Clifton), Olivia (Darnley), Kathryn (Lenox) and Kemi (Richmond).

The 2018/19 SLT has started as they mean to go on, having organised an Easter Egg Hunt for the last week of term.  Just before lunchtime one day, the new SLT placed 200 chocolate eggs around the School. The Hunt took place on the same day as the International Day of Happiness was marked - Tuesday 20th March, coincidentally also the date of the Spring Equinox!  What better way to celebrate than with chocolate eggs?

The girls have many ideas for future events this year, mixing old and new. They hope to continue their predecessor’s Colour Run, as well as introducing a summer party, and a Beauty Bank Charity event.

It certainly seems our new SLT are hitting the ground running and we look forward to seeing their impact on the School!
