Sue Anderson

We are saddened to announce that Sue Anderson passed away last week after a long battle with Cancer.

Sue worked at Cobham Hall from 1983 to 1998 in a role that encompassed a diverse range of responsibilities including Careers and Higher Education, Marketing and Recruitment and then, in 1992, as one of the first Development Directors within the Independent schools sector.  Sue developed the enterprise area of the School, generating an income from the buildings and facilities during school holidays.

After leaving Cobham Hall, Sue established her own Education Consultancy  – Anderson Education, a Boarding Schools Specialist and one of our Recruitment Agents.  She was awarded an MBE by the Queen for services to education in June 2013.

The family have arranged the following:

‘Our celebration of a wonderful life will be on Monday, 12th November at 12noon, at the natural burial ground of Clayton Wood; not far from the seaside town of Worthing that she loved so much.’

Sue's family have requested no flowers; but would welcome donations to The Ellenor Hospice for those wishing to honour Sue.
