Target Smashed for Comic Relief

We were thrilled today when the final total came in from our Red Nose Day £500 Challenge. Holding a bake sale, we aimed to raise a total of £500 for Comic Relief.

The Red Nose Day Cupcakes were baked by our Catering Team – with special thanks to Mrs Pollington who led the baking.  The cakes were sold at morning break, lunch time and after school with the support of our Student Leadership Team.

Headmistress Ms Roberts had set the School community a target of raising £500 – quite a feat for our small community. As ever, the School rose to the challenge before them. The generosity of many was outstanding, and thanks to students, Parents, Guardians, staff and The Friends of Cobham Hall Heritage Trust, a fantastic total of £652.70 was raised. Ms Roberts commended the efforts, “Cobham Hall did it! A huge thank you to everyone for supporting the challenge. Both the outgoing and the current SLT were phenomenal in the way they got behind the selling of the cakes, too. Well done, everyone.”
