Living History for Year 7
Lunch time took a distinctly Medieval twist for Year 7 at the end of last week. Thanks to the Catering Department, the girls were able to enjoy a themed lunch before heading off to explore nearby Eynsford Castle.
Girls dressed their parts and the Lord and Lady took their seats at the top table while serfs were seated elsewhere. Vegetable soup, chunks of ham and bread, cheeses and chicken legs were available for the girls to tuck into with service provided by their History teachers!
After lunch and entertainment, the girls visited Eynsford Castle, ruined medieval fortification, where their imaginations were guided to visualise the castle as it once was.
