International Women’s Day

Posted: 8th March 2022

International Women’s Day was celebrated across The Mill Hill Schools Foundation by highlighting exemplary students and staff across all seven schools. The Foundation wanted to recognise inspiring leaders, academic achievers and inspirational members of the community.

The chosen member of staff and students were asked who was the woman who inspired them the most, and why. The range of answers was fascinating to read.

You can see the document here, which features Natasha (Year 11) and Head of Humanities Miss Williams.

In addition to this cross-Foundation initiative and Year 9 Breaking the Bias at Medway Park, Boarding also treated the School community to an International Women’s Day themed lunch. They suggested recipes to our Catering team inspired by Annie Rigg, Justine Pattison and Mary Berry, decorated the Dining Room and supplied a female-artist packed playlist.
