The School Week

From Mondays to Fridays, lessons run from 8.30am until 4.30pm. After school there are clubs, matches and activities, as well as Prep time.

The Saturday morning programme of activities and outings complements academic lessons.  In-school sessions usually run from 9.15am to 12.35pm. Some activities are optional while others are compulsory, and schedules are published at the start of the academic year.

As a full boarding school, day girls are welcome to come to school before breakfast and stay until bedtime. Many day girls also like to flexi-board, either occasionally or on a regular basis.

The day is divided into six lessons.  Assemblies are held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and are taken by various members of staff, tutor groups or students. Sixth Form Registration and Tutorial arrangements differ slightly and are posted on noticeboards.
