Welcome to Bligh House – An Innovation in SEND

We are excited to announce the opening of Bligh House SEND Centre located within the Cobham Hall School site. Bligh House is a new SEND centre catering for students aged 11 to 16 with Emotional Based School Non Attendance.

This centre of excellence is the result of a unique collaboration between Mill Hill Education Group, one of the UK’s fastest-growing charitable independent school groups, and Chiltern Way Academy Trust, an outstanding specialist Multi Academy Trust.

Together they are bringing Bligh House to the South East of England to offer your child the very best opportunities to succeed.

Cost Breakdown

Please note that the following costs are calculated based on the School operating for up to 38 weeks of the year.

Day Placement (£55,000 per annum)Coming Soon: Weekly Residential Placement (£105,000 per annum)
- Access to a tailored curriculum and teaching for ASC and associated needs- Day Placement offer plus
- Integrated therapeutic practices within the universal provision- 4-night accommodation package (Monday-Thursday inclusive)
- Assessment, monitoring and delivery of Speech & Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy and protective behaviour intervention- High quality evening meals
- High quality breakfast and lunch, and nutritious snacks throughout the day- Individually tailored evening and morning routines
- Access to specialist ASC tailored classrooms and facilities- Extended day curriculum focusing on independence and social integration
- Access to wider school facilities- Integrated therapeutic practices within the provision of residential care
- Continued management of the ECHP to meet the evolving needs of the student- On-site pastoral care and 24/7 support
- Bespoke placement plans and key worker allocation devised from EHCP in liaison with all associated professionals surrounding the child
- All provision in adherence to and exceeding NMS for residential special schools

Any additional costs will be provided within the offer letter based on provision within section F of the EHCP that may require highly specialised intervention. These include but are not exhaustive of:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Psychodynamic (Psychoanalytic) Psychotherapy, Alternative Provision and Peripatetic Music Lessons.
