An independent day and boarding school for girls and boys aged 11-19.

Welcome from the Head

Welcome to Cobham Hall. Choosing the right school for your child is an important decision, and I am delighted to introduce you to a community where every student is truly known, valued and supported to become the best version of themselves.

At Cobham Hall, we believe education should develop the whole child, preparing them for life beyond school. Through a personalised approach, excellent teaching and outstanding pastoral care, we nurture academic ambition alongside confidence, character, curiosity and independence. Our students are encouraged to discover their strengths, pursue their passions and embrace opportunities beyond the classroom – whether on the stage, the sports field, through adventure or in service to others.

Our unique family feel is truly special, providing students an environment where they can develop a genuine sense of belonging and flourish. Our aim is not simply to prepare students for examinations, but to equip them with the skills, values and self-belief they need to thrive in an ever-changing world.

I warmly invite you to come and see what makes Cobham Hall such a special place to learn, grow and belong. Reach out to us today to visit us for a tour, taster day or open morning and experience all we have to offer first-hand.

Inspiring Surroundings

Why choose us?

‘There’s more in you than you think’

We believe untold brilliance lies within each of our students, and that each has the potential to develop skills and abilities they may never have believed possible. Our School motto, ‘There’s more in you than you think,’ underlines this. We are committed to providing our students with the academic knowledge to flourish, and to inspiring each student to have the courage to challenge themselves and find their own path in life.

Happy young people learn, and we place student wellbeing at the heart of everything we do, ensuring trust, respect, honesty, kindness and tolerance infuse every aspect of the educational experience. In our diverse and tolerant environment, students feel safe to question the world around them, to develop their curiosity and creativity, and to discover there is more in them than they know.

A member of the international Round Square network of schools, our core values are built around the Round Square IDEALS of Internationalism, Democracy, Environmentalism, Adventure, Leadership and Service.
