Years 7 to 11
Found at the end of a winding road, Bligh House is the Year 7 to 10 Boarding House. The House has many spacious bedrooms and there is a kitchen and dining area and a large common room.
The girls have plenty of communal space to relax, have fun and socialise; the perfect place to watch television or to curl up on the sofas in front of the wood burner. The House computers enable access to Skype and the large garden with benches provide outdoor areas for use when the weather allows.
Main Hall is where Year 11 live. It is part of the original Manor House where Lord Darnley lived with his family when the Estate belonged to the nobility.
Girls in Year 11 usually share with just one or two others, and have desks in their rooms to allow for more independent study. They have their own common room and kitchen.
Each girl has her own area in her bedroom with plenty of storage space and pinboards. Girls are encouraged to bring posters, photographs and other little knick-knacks to make their rooms feel like home.
