Be Supported
In our caring environment and buoyed by our inclusive spirit, students are encouraged to challenge themselves. We believe that by taking part in everything Cobham Hall has to offer, our students discover more about themselves. In turn, they excel academically and leave us fully prepared for the path they have chosen. We give every child the attention they need academically, allowing each to be challenged both inside and outside of the classroom, to push themselves beyond their own personal comfort zone. Our outstanding pastoral support gives students the confidence to put themselves forward, to take a chance, to get involved, and – just as crucially – pick themselves up if things don't go as planned.
“The school supports pupils in developing their confidence to pursue their goals. So they find the courage to push themselves.” ISI report 2024

Be Prepared
A Cobham Hall education is not just about results (though these are excellent) – it is an education for life, preparing today’s students for an unknown tomorrow and for jobs that have yet to be imagined. The development of essential life skills is core to the curriculum in every year group and cemented in our bespoke Perspectives course. From creativity to curiosity, communication skills to adaptability, Perspectives lessons support each child in developing the attributes and skills they will need to thrive, whatever the future brings. And in our multicultural, diverse setting, students develop the global outlook and understanding our world will need.
“Pupils have an excellent understanding of the value of diversity and are well prepared for their future lives.” ISI report 2024

Be You
We believe in educating the individual. Being a small school allows us to be aware of each pupil’s talents, strengths and potential, and we encourage every student to develop all aspects of their character. As a small school, where everyone knows everyone, we have a natural advantage in providing excellent, individual care for all our students. Strong communication between Pastoral, Academic and Boarding staff ensures that each student gets the care and support needed to thrive. Our diverse student body comprises many different nationalities, backgrounds, abilities, and talents – every individual prized, valued and celebrated.
“A small, truly international school which turns out compassionate, confident and worldly-wise global citizens.” Good Schools Guide

Be Challenged
We aim to provide, and encourage students to take, as many opportunities as possible. Our outstanding co-curricular and Saturday Enrichment programmes offer a huge range of activities that provide opportunities to have fun as well as to develop or learn new skills. As a Round Square school, we offer students the chance to travel the world for conferences, exchanges and service projects. These are in addition to the day-to-day fabric of Cobham Hall, which every day offers a wealth of leadership opportunities, service activities and chances to try the new.
“A strong international focus and a huge spirit of adventure.” Muddy Stilettos

Be Inspired
Housed in a beautiful 16th century mansion surrounded by 150 acres of glorious Kent countryside, though just 30 minutes from central London, Cobham Hall’s setting is truly inspirational. Students can practise in the Downs for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award expeditions, have campfires in the clearing where Charles Dickens’ writing chalet once stood, or enjoy BBQs in Lady Darnley’s garden. The grounds are used for enhancing classroom studies: data for environmental studies, space for physical education, and natural sets for drama, art and music are all just outside the door. Students can also enjoy life’s simpler pleasures: climbing trees, kicking a ball about, or simply relaxing in sunshine. All are activities that develop our students’ physical, social, moral and spiritual qualities, alongside the academic success that flourishes as a result.
“The building and grounds are idyllic – they are that epitome of story book British boarding school at its finest.” Muddy Stilettos
