Brooke House is a warm and welcoming home for our Upper School female boarders. We provide a supportive environment where students can thrive academically, socially and personally during their senior years.

With a strong sense of community, Brooke House encourages independence while offering guidance and care from experienced staff. We foster a respectful and inclusive atmosphere where lifelong friendships are formed, and each student is encouraged to reach their full potential.

Our facilities are designed to give students both comfort and independence. Each bedroom is complete with a bed, wardrobe and desk - perfect for both studying and personal space. The House has its own fully equipped kitchen, as well as laundry facilities including a washing machine and dryer. The spacious common room is a hub of activity and relaxation, featuring a Nintendo Switch, table tennis table and a foosball table. We also have a dedicated music room, offering boarder’s a quiet space to practice, relax or simply enjoy making music.

Students in Years 11, 12 and 13 are encouraged to develop independence, especially when it comes to life skills. All year groups have the opportunity to prepare their own meals throughout the weekend. In addition, boarders in Years 12 and 13 enjoy the privilege of cooking their own dinners in-house during the week, giving them greater flexibility and a chance to explore their culinary skills.

Pastoral care and safety are at the heart of Brooke House. The boarding house is secured with coded entry, and there is always a staff member on site. A dedicated staff member also lives in a flat connected to the house, and students have access to staff 24/7, ensuring help and support is always close at hand.
