
The School Day
7.00am: | Wake up |
7.45am - 8.15am: | Breakfast - All boarders Years 7 to 12 attend breakfast in the Dining Hall |
8.25am: | Registration - You will register with your Tutor every morning in your Tutor Room. |
10.50am - 11.10am: | Morning Break - You can make yourself drinks and have biscuits and fruit in the dining room (Harriet/Stuart Years 7 to 11) and in the Sixth Form Centre (Sixth Formers). |
1.15pm: | Lunch Break - Sixth Formers may enter the Dining Hall from 1.00pm if they are not in class and all students are expected to eat in the dining room (not in House) |
2.05pm: | Assembly is in the Gilt Hall on Mondays and Fridays. |
2.25pm: | Registration will be with your teacher at the start of lesson 5 or via Reception if you are in the Sixth Form Centre for a study period. |
4.30pm: | Co-Curricular activities. |
5.30pm: | End of Co-Curricular activities. |

Study Time and House Meetings
Prep time for Years 7 to 10 is in the House common room from 6.30pm - 8.00pm, while Year 11 boarders may work in their bedrooms with the doors open. Sixth Formers can study in-house or at the Sixth Form Centre from 6:30pm to 8.00pm.
House Meetings occur once a week, where your Housemistress/Master shares information, discusses House matters, and provides an opportunity for you to contribute to the boarding community.
Bedtime
Bedtime routines vary by Year Group.
For Harriet House, before lights out everyone must be in their night clothes, have completed their bedtime routine and have their devices handed in. Bedrooms should be tidy by bedtime. For Sixth Form you are expected to vacate the common areas of your House by 10:30pm.

Weekends
Weekday Evenings:
On Tuesday and Friday evenings, there are various activities such as bench ball, bingo, meals out, cinema trips, laser tag, or visits to the local shopping centre. On Thursdays, Years 11 to 13 have the chance to visit a local supermarket.
Saturday Morning:
Certain Saturdays you will attend Saturday Enrichment Activities (9.15am – 12.15pm)
Meals:
Breakfast in the Dining Hall is usually held at 8.30am, lunch at 12.45pm and supper at 5.45pm. All Boarders in Years 7 to 10 are expected to attend weekend meals. Year 11, 12 and 13 Boarders can cook in House.
Saturday Afternoon:
With parental consent, boarders in Years 10 to 13 have a rotating option to sign up for a school shuttle to Bluewater, and Years 12 and 13 to Ebbsfleet, allowing them to travel into London. Sixth Formers may also check out in pairs.
