Cobham Hall Celebrates 2025 A Level Results

Cobham Hall is thrilled to congratulate our Class of 2025 on their exceptional A Level results, which have become the best results to date. This year, 43% of grades achieved were A-B with 70% getting A-C, with an impressive 88% of our students securing their first-choice university places. Among these, 30% gained entry to prestigious Russell Group universities, including the University of Warwick, Cardiff University, Durham University and the University of Nottingham.

As a proudly non-selective, outcomes-focused School, Cobham Hall celebrates every achievement, recognising that success comes in many forms beyond academic grades. We are particularly proud of our international students, many of whom joined us with beginner-level English. Their determination and resilience have shone through, with the average for our international students achieving grade B, with 80% exceeding their predicted grades. On average, they achieved one and a half grades higher than expected (a value-added score of +1.5), and all international students secured at least one A*-B grade.

Standout Success

A standout success story is our 2024-2025 Guardian, Nattakarn (Ruk), who achieved an A* in Biology, which was four grades higher than her original prediction. Having joined Cobham Hall with limited English and from receiving EAL support, Ruk has become a pillar of our community. She will now progress to a Russell Group university and has been nominated for the Independent Schools Awards in the Rising Star category.

Our subject results also highlight the dedication and talent of both students and staff:

  • Art, Craft and Design achieved 100% A*-B, and Graphic Communications achieved 86% A*-B
  • 84% of our Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) students gained A*-B, with 47% achieving A*
  • Biology secured an impressive 67% at A*-B
  • 33% of Geography students achieved A*-B grades
  • Most impressively, History accomplished 100% at A*

These achievements reflect the commitment and hard work of the Class of 2025.

Congratulations once again to our 2025 leavers – we can’t wait to see what you achieve next.
