Students Shortlisted for Biggest Art Competition in Kent

The Art department are delighted to announce that the following students have been shortlisted for the John Downton Art Awards 2024.

The students are Jemima (Year 8), Bond (Year 12), Grace (Year 12), Betsy (Year 13), Zach (Year 13), as well as Cobham Hall Elders Daisy and Elizabeth.

Prizes and awards

There will be prizes for the top three individuals in each of the age groups, 11–16 and 17–18 plus Highly Commended in each age group. The John Downton trophy will be awarded for the best overall submission by a school. There are media specific prizes in painting, drawing, photography and mixed media in each age group.

Congratulations to Cobham Hall Elder, Daisy, who has reached the final of the GSA Photographic Competition.
