A Level and GCSE Results 2026
We are immensely proud to celebrate an incredible set of A Level and GCSE results this year, including our best-ever A Level results to date.
We are thrilled to share that 30% of our Year 13 cohort achieved A*-A grades, 63% achieved A*-B, and 82% achieved A*-C. We are particularly delighted that 100% of students who applied to university secure their chosen university, with 50% progressing to Russell Group universities. There were also some fantastic subject results at A Level, including 100% A*-A in Art, 100% A*-B in Politics and Economics, and 100% A*-B in Further Mathematics.
At GCSE, 56% of all grades were 9-6 (A*-B) and 70% were 9-5 (A*-high C), with an average grade of 5.6 (B). This year, we saw a 100% pass rate across Biology, Chemistry, French, Music, EAL, Further Mathematics and PE. A particular highlight is Further Mathematics, where students achieved a 100% pass rate, with 100% of grades at 9-5 (A*-C).

A Level and GCSE Results 2025
Cobham Hall is proud to celebrate outstanding GCSE and A Level results, reflecting our inclusive ethos as a non-selective School. With 35% of our Year 11 cohort identified as having Special Educational Needs, and many international students joining us with beginner-level English, these achievements highlight the determination and talent of our community.
At GCSE, 46% of all grades were 9-6 (A*-B equivalent) and 66% were 9-5 (A*-high C), with an average grade of 6 (a solid B). Several subjects achieved 100% pass rates, including Art, Sciences, Drama and PE, while results in Chemistry, Physics and Drama were significantly above national averages.
At A Level, we are thrilled to report our best results to date, with 43% of grades at A-B and 70% at A-C. An impressive 88% secured their first-choice university, with 30% progressing to Russell Group institutions.

A Level and GCSE Results 2024
Cobham Hall proudly celebrated the outstanding achievements of students receiving their results. A Level students impressed with an incredible 60% of students secured offers from their first-choice universities, including prestigious Russell Group institutions. The overall results were well-received, with 67% of grades falling within the A*-C range, and 90% of subjects achieving a 100% pass rate. The Creative Arts department shone with a 90% pass rate for A*-C grades, while Graphic Design achieved a perfect 100% A* result. Additionally, 100% of Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) students earned A*-C grades, with 61% achieving A*/A, reflecting the high regard for this course by universities. Year 11 students, received exceptional GCSE results. On average, students earned 8.4 GCSEs, with one-third of the cohort securing a grade 7 (A*/A) or above across all of their subjects - an impressive demonstration of their dedication and academic excellence. A highlight of the results was the remarkable 100% pass rate in key subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Music.


University Destinations
We're proud of our aim to support every student’s educational journey so that they are able to leave Cobham Hall confident in their abilities, and ready to go to their destination of choice. For some, they may continue their learning through experience by taking a Gap Year to travel or undertake various service placements. Others will head to university. Cobham Hall students have gone on to study at leading universities, including Oxford, Cambridge, UCL (University College London), Durham and Imperial College.
