Festival Day

Held on the final day of the Summer Term, Festival Day is a celebration of the achievements of the academic year, a review of the past year and a glimpse of the year to come.

Inspirational guest speakers leave all with something to ponder as they embark on Summer holidays, from the “dangers” of women who read, to the experiences and inspirations of a medal winning Olympian.

As well as the prize-giving, girls provide a short programme of entertainment, from sport, music and the creative arts. The event – and the academic year – ends with drinks and canapés in Lady Darnley’s Garden or the Gilt Hall.
