We were delighted to welcome around 40 Elders back to School this weekend for a reunion lunch. There was a wonderful mix of generations, from Lady Harriet Bligh – a Pioneer from the School’s first intake and a member of the original Darnley family who used to own and live at Cobham Hall prior to it becoming a school, to a number of students who left for university in 2019.
There was much laughter and chatter as people discussed their memories, took a tour around the School, and enjoyed a fabulous dinner laid on by our Catering Team. Our Elders also got to hear first hand from Mr Antony Spencer, CEO of The Mill Hill Foundation, about plans for the School moving forwards.
The afternoon ended with tea, coffee and scones, enjoyed in either the Gilt Hall, or outside in the late afternoon sun.
