Cobham Hall was delighted to welcome twenty students from around the world to our Summer Immersion Programme this half term.
The programme offers pupils a unique four-week immersive experience, learning alongside our permanent students, and the chance to try for themselves life in an English boarding school. This year’s group included students from France, Italy, Norway, China, Hungary, and Spain, from Year 7 all the way through to Year 12. All threw themselves into their academic studies and the plethora of activities and trips available.
In Curriculum Enhancement week, they played a major part in Film School, both directing and starring in some of the excellent films made, and they contributed some of the most show-stopping (and prize-winning) outfits in our Recycled Clothing Fashion Show.
We were very sad to have to say goodbye this week as we presented the girls with special Cobham Hall hoodies, certificates and badges. We hope to see some of them again next year.
‘I enjoyed the many activities after school and at weekends’ – Maria, Year 10
