Freya (Year 9) ended the last football season on a high. She captained her grass-roots Crayford Arrows team to a cup win, and was voted Player of the Year.
This year, she will captain Crayford as the only girls’ team in an exclusively boys’ league. She represented her team off the pitch too, attending a private screening of the England Lionesses’
semi-final vs Australia at 10 Downing Street. After a successful season, Freya was invited to several trials with academies and quality football clubs, and with several offers to
consider she chose to sign for Ebbsfleet Women’s U14, where she will be competing in the Junior Premier League (JPL).
