On Saturday 11th May, as part of the Saturday enrichment activity ‘Teamwork makes the Dream Work’, students from Years 7-12 were immersed in team building sessions designed to foster their democracy, adventure, and leadership skills (part of our IDEALS).
Divided into three groups, they had to try to escape the Panic Room in Gravesend (Year 8 made it out, whilst Year 7s, Miss White, and the Upper School did not), before returning to Cobham Hall for further team building games and skills.
In the second week of the activity, the students were more successful in their new Panic Room challenge. They finished the day with a spectacular Colour Run back at School, ably assisted by fellow students and staff. The Year 7s – Lola, Tallulah, Genevieve and Pearl – in a wonderful act of solidarity completed the run with arms interlinked so they finished together; no girl left behind!
